Old Cooperians Vs East London 3rdXV Old Cooperians without an Essex 2 league game hosted East London 3rd's and were clear winners with eight tries without reply. Coopers took the game into East London half from the kick off and in the third minute flanker Chris Webber gathered a loose ball from a maul and out paced the defence to score his first try. Coopers continued to dominate and with good ball from the pack and excellent running and passing by their backs tries came regularly every five minutes with fly half Jack Bryan, winger Simon Blackburn, fly half Rob Anderson, Chris Webber his second and centre Miles Brady being the scorers. Score at halftime Old Cooperians 40, East London 0 Coopers took the foot of the pedal in the second half and the game became more scrappy with intended moves breaking down. East London kicked high balls with the wind behind them an encroached into Coopers 22 but were unable to cross the goal line. Following a quickly taken tap penalty fullback Harry Fayers ran through and scored in the sixtieth minute and No 8 Ian Milroy completed the scoring with a quality try in the seventieth fifth minute.
